Barkingside Stabbing Today – A 19-year-old man has been hospitalized following a stabbing in Ilford.
The incident occurred on High Street, Barkingside, shortly after 4:35 PM today (June 24). Officers and London Ambulance Service crews arrived at the scene and found the man injured.
He was transported to the hospital for treatment, and his condition is currently unknown. It is believed that the victim was assaulted on a Route 169 bus. A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said:
“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 16:37hrs on Monday, 24 June to reports of a man stabbed on High Street in Barkingside. Officers attended. The 19-year-old has been taken to hospital for treatment. We await an update on his condition.”
No arrests have been made, and police investigations are ongoing. A crime scene has been established, and inquiries continue.
