Austin Parker Wilmington NC, Accident: Teen died in motorcycle-vehicle collision in Wilmington

Austin Parker Motorcycle Accident – Following a motorcycle-vehicle collision in Wilmington on Sunday night, a 19-year-old person died.

Austin Lee Parker, the motorcyclist, passed away instantly, as stated in a Wilmington Police Department press statement. Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the collision at the intersection of South College Road and Wilshire Boulevard.

Although emergency personnel started trying to save Parker’s life, he passed away from his wounds. The incident is being looked into by the Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Wilmington Police Department. According to the WPD, units responded to the crash, which included a motorbike and a car, approximately 9:30 p.m.

Medical personnel attempted to save the rider, Austin Lee Parker, but he died at the site as a result of his injuries. This event is now being investigated by the WPD Traffic Unit.

“We extend our condolences to Mr. Parker’s friends and family during this difficult time,” the WPD stated in an update. The southbound lanes of College Road were closed in the vicinity while police investigated the incident. The road has since reopened.
