Austin Ly Death – A devastating accident in east-central Fresno has claimed the life of 16-year-old Austin Ly, a Clovis East High School student, leaving the local community in mourning.
The fatal crash occurred on Tuesday just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Fowler and Tulare Avenue. According to authorities, Austin Ly was riding his motorcycle when he allegedly ran a red light and collided with a car that was turning onto Fowler. The impact of the crash caused Ly to be thrown from his motorcycle.
Emergency responders rushed him to the hospital, but despite efforts to save him, Austin Ly tragically succumbed to his injuries. Fresno police have confirmed that the driver of the car involved in the crash is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
