Ashleigh LeeAnn Boyd Obituary, Topeka KS, Teacher at Lowman Hill Elementary School has died

Ashleigh LeeAnn Boyd Obituary – Ashleigh LeeAnn Boyd Monzano-Aguilar, 24, Topeka, Kansas, passed away on April 11, 2024. Ashleigh was born March 7, 2000, in Flowood, Mississippi.

She was the daughter of Nicole and Brian Hinck and Cherokee and Nicole Boyd. She graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School in 2018.

Ashleigh attended Kansas State University and earned her degree from Emporia State University. She was a devoted Second Grade Teacher at Lowman Hill Elementary School.

Ashleigh was loved by students, parents and the staff. She was a member of the Kansas Association for Youth (KAY) and was very active in their message.

Ashleigh was the most kindest, caring, beautiful person. Her sparkling personality was contagious and would light up any room she walked into. She was a ray of sunshine and always had a smile on her face.

Ashleigh touched so many lives and had a positive influence on everyone she met! She was a mother to 15 month old, Eleanor, who became Ashleigh’s entire world.

Ashleigh is survived by her daughter, Eleanor; husband, Adan Manzano-Aguilar; parents; siblings, Dakota Boyd (Lexie), Andrea Hinck (fiancé, Jeremy Kubitz) and Savannah Hinck (fiancé, Aaron Marsack); nephew, Bradley Boyd; grandparents, Ruth and Wayne Boyd and Less and Edy Alderson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Connie Alderson and Kandy and Larry Hinck, and her cousin McKenzie Hinck.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 19, 2024, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Carbondale Attendance Center, 315 N 4th Street, Carbondale KS 66414. Burial will follow in Carbondale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ellie’s Education fund with a check made out to Eleanor Manzano-UTMA or KAYAN and sent in care of the funeral home.
