Anthony Finley & Kimberly Finley, 2 Individuals From Heflin Died in Crash on I-20, Calhoun County After their Vehicle Was Struck by Another
Tragedy struck on Saturday as two individuals from Heflin lost their lives in a traffic collision on Interstate 20 in Calhoun County. The incident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. along I-20 near Alabama 281, approximately three miles east of Oxford, as reported by Alabama State Troopers.
Anthony A. Finley, 58, was driving a 2002 Toyota Sienna when a collision ensued with a 2016 Ford Mustang driven by Dustin T. Cleckler, 30, from Thorsby. Subsequently, the Toyota veered off the road, impacting an embankment and multiple trees before overturning.
The casualties, Anthony A. Finley and his passenger Kimberly H. Finley, 59, were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. Specific details regarding the incident remain undisclosed at this time.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division has taken charge of the investigation into this fatal collision.
