Amber Alert Idaho Update: Police said the child was found safely.

Laney Landry, age 4, was the subject of an Amber Alert. According to the alert, when he and the child got into a fight, 55-year-old suspect Rand Gruber abducted the girl and never gave her back.
Gruber promised to return the girl by 7:30 p.m. on September 8, saying he was taking her on an artifact quest in Owyhee County’s Bachman Grade region.
Landry’s mother reported to the police that she has not been able to get in touch with Gruber and that they have not been located. According to the police, Gruber has no parental rights.
Landry weighs 35 pounds, is 3’06”, has brown hair, and brown eyes. Gruber, the suspect, is a white man who stands 5’09” and weighs 200 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair. A 2010 white Ford Escape with Idaho license plates 1ALZN3U was last seen carrying the two.
