Ski Accident; Williams College student Alex Kemp, 19, died at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort

Alex Kemp Ski Accident Lincroft NJ Death – The tragic death of Alex Kemp, a 19-year-old freshman at Williams College, has left his community in deep sorrow.

Alex passed away on Tuesday, January 7, after sustaining fatal injuries in a skiing accident at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort.

The accident happened on Monday when Alex went off-trail and struck his head after going over an embankment. Though he was wearing a helmet, the injuries were too severe.

Despite the efforts of paramedics and doctors at both Berkshire Medical Center and Baystate Medical Center, Alex could not be saved. Authorities have ruled out alcohol and drugs as contributing factors.

Alex was a celebrated athlete and scholar. A state champion in the 3200-meter run while attending Christian Brothers Academy, he carried his passion for running into college as a member of the Williams College cross-country team. In addition to his athletic achievements, Alex was recognized for his academic excellence, excelling on the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

Alex Kemp’s life, though tragically short, was filled with brilliance, dedication, and passion. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and teammates, who will forever cherish the impact he made.
